Stand-Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) Experience
On this tour, you will try your hand at stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) at Menuma pond, one of the most renowned ponds in Fukushima. The nature surrounding the pond is stunning, especially during autumn when the leaves change color. If you've never tried SUP before, do not worry! The staff will support you every step of the way. The experience is available in English or Japanese, but English-language support is only available on certain days. You will meet with your instructor at the Tsuchiyu Onsen Tourism Association in Tsuchiyu Onsen town (approx. 45 min. by bus from Fukushima Station).

Orientation & Explanation
SUP is a sport that originated in Hawaii. The prototype of SUP was made by old aristocrats to watch over people surfing in the sea. The instructor will explain how to paddle on SUP.

Now comes the fun part! Try your hand at SUP in a breathtaking pond surrounded by lush nature. Don't worry about falling - your instructor will be there at all times to have your back!

Once the experience is over, you'll be taken back to the Tsuchiyu Onsen Tourism Association by private car.

After coming back to the Tsuchiyu Onsen Tourism Association, you can spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the best Tsuchiyu has to offer! This charming onsen town located only a short bus ride away from Fukushima station is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature, as well as learn about traditional crafts.
