Aizu cotton and lacquerware flourished during the samurai era, while Aizu Hongo ware evolved from roof tile production into practical, elegant pottery. These traditions have been preserved by artisans through the generations and remain part of daily life today.

Walk through the town of Aizu Hongo ware and learn how pottery-making is rooted in the local community, experiencing the close connection between tradition and everyday life.
④Tea Ceremony Experience
Experience an Urasenke tea ceremony at the Mukurogami Castle Tea Pavilion, learning its Zen spirit through hands-on tea preparation.
