Fascinated by the beautiful nature & the open-minded people living there, I moved from Kanto Region to Tamura,Fukushima in 1990. Just after the Great East Japan Earthquake,I was forced to stay at an evacuation center and then to live in the temporary house for some years． Being qualified as a Fukushima regional interpreter guide,I’ve had several chances to accompany foreign guests visiting mainly the area on the Pacific Ocean．
Recently, some visitors are enjoying touring around Tamura,Koriyama area in addition to the Seacoast Area．How about visiting the nature & the history the locals have lived with？Sometimes you can talk to the people there,and get to know how they’ve lived since 3.11．I would be happy if you find or feel something after you visit My Local Area‼

For example I have been traveling south Asia (included south east Asia), Europe, Africa, North & South America. Basically I travel alone. In such places, I have joined a tour group there, and learned technique of how to guide from tour guides. Of course, in Japan I did it too. I love to communicate and meet with people from different cultures. My hobby is triathlon. So, in spring, summer and autumn, I am good at activities such as running, swimming, biking etc, and in winter skiing.
