Hello! I’m here to assist you in exploring the literary heritage of Fukushima Prefecture, following in the footsteps of writers and poets, including the renowned Matsuo Bashō.

I can also provide interpretation services in Polish (please note that I am not a certified Polish tour guide, so my role will be limited to interpretation only). If you need an interpreter when welcoming guests from Poland, feel free to reach out. I would be happy to help!

My goal is to provide a safe and comfortable guided experience for visitors who sincerely appreciate and respect Japanese culture, traditions, and customs.

Thank you for finding me!　I will do my best to help my guests enjoy a memorable journey exploring the Edo period, the age of samurai, which is deeply connected to Fukushima Prefecture. Fukushima Prefecture, where I can guide you to many relics related to the Edo period including: Tsurugajo and Komine Castles, stages of decisive battles at the end of the period; Nanko Park, the public park oldest in Japan, presented by the distinguished Lord, Sadanobu Matsudaira; and temples and shrines. I can provide you with expert knowledge obtained through my own experiences as an engineer, as a JICA training coordinator and as a licensed tourist guide having been subjected to lectures and trainings, of: reconstruction of Earth Quake devasted Fukushima; agriculture and livestock industries; advanced factory production procedure management technics developed in Japan. Besides, according to your taste preference, I can take you to some among rich variety of ramen shops and sake shops that Fukushima has received high evaluations.

I love to communicate and meet with people from different cultures. My hobby is triathlon. So, in spring, summer and autumn, I am good at activities such as running, swimming, biking etc, and in winter skiing. I would be happy if you could feel Aizu's goodness while walking together in a historic town or in rich nature. Wishing to support you as a casual personal guide interpreter. Starting from a high-school English teacher, I've long worked for a National College of Technology as a professor. Having practiced several traditional martial arts & sports. Interested in world peace, international relations, sustainable development, and grass-roots intercultural communication. Guess my hospitable character from my profile, please.

I would like to give you a handmade guide to meet your needs. I was born and raised in a port town called Yotsukura in Iwaki. My father was a semi-professional sea urchin and abalone diver. I was good at catching clams and mussels from an early age by imitation. I still go swimming in the ocean in the summer.

I started karate when I was in college to introduce Japanese culture to the world, and I have been practicing it for more than 45 years even though I am not very good at it. I still participate in masters, expert, and old men's competitions. I have also acquired the 3rd dan in Judo, which I used to do. I have a judo physique, so I am quite thick and disadvantageous for karate.

In winter, if I have time, I go to Urabandaï to ski alone. I can help those who are interested in karate and skiing on their own trips. I will guide you with hospitality so that you will want to come back to Fukushima again.
