Subsidy of up to 13,000 yen per person for package tours to Fukushima!
Fukushima Prefecture will grant subsidies to travel agencies to cover part of the expense for developing package tours that include overnight stays in Fukushima Prefecture, within the limits of the budget.
Subsidies are being provided with the intention of revitalizing the local community by increasing the number of foreigners visiting Fukushima from overseas.
Applicable Tours: Package tours held by February 29, 2024
Deadline: 40-10 days prior to the tour date.
● Standard Grant Requirements: ¥5,000 per traveler
• Stay 2 nights in Fukushima prefecture
• Visit 5 or more destinations in Fukushima prefecture
• 10 or more travelers (non-Japanese nationals visiting from overseas).
• Proof of advertising of package tours
● Additional Grant Requirement 1: +¥5,000 per traveler
• Tours using a bus service provider with headquarters or sales offices in Fukushima Prefecture.
● Additional Grant Requirement 2：+¥3,000 per traveler
• Of the overnight stays in Fukushima Prefecture, stay 1 night in the Hamadori Region.

(1) Package Tour Creation Support Project Applicant Information Sheet (Excel Sheet A｜Company Info)
(2) A copy of the business card of a company representative
(3) A copy of the business card of the person in charge of the application
*Please note that you cannot omit having to stamp and send the originals if you are applying through a power of attorney.
